Job Summary

Discovery Life Sciences is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing and processing biological samples for microscopic evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and section human tissue for microscopic evaluation using routine histology procedures.
  • Perform staining procedures to enhance tissue visibility.
  • Review prepared slides for quality and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operations.
  • Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory services, and other departments to identify, prevent, and resolve problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Board of Certification (BOC) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification Required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Histology Technician.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Location and Work Hours

Located in Newtown, PA or surrounding areas with a 5-day (M-F) work schedule, typically starting at 8AM local time.
