Histology Technician

Discovery Life Sciences is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histology Technician to contribute to the success of our dynamic team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing high-quality tissue samples for microscopic evaluation, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our scientific discoveries.

• Prepare tissue samples for histological examination using routine procedures, including embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of prepared slides, adhering to strict standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of histological techniques, including immunohistochemistry and special stains.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
• Board of Certification (BOC) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Histology Technician.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
