Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with over 10 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years of pertinent experience is also acceptable.
- Demonstrated expertise in both software and hardware testing methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic hardware.
- Experience in designing test hardware.
- Proficiency in LabView, Python, or C#.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to develop complex analytical spreadsheets.
- Effective presentation skills, capable of engaging with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Electrical Test Engineering Manager, you will be tasked with the design, development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and overall support of electronic testing equipment. Your focus will include products such as Actuator Control Units (ACUs) and Flight Control Computers (FCCs) at the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) level. Additionally, hardware design and programming will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with Operations and Design Engineering to address manufacturing challenges and facilitate the transition of products and testing equipment to the supply chain. You will oversee the entry of products into service (EIS) and ensure a seamless transition of designs to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic testing equipment.
- Support transition strategies for electronic designs moving into production and supply chain.
- Assist in supplier training for testing equipment and provide requirements to support their development.
- Lead cross-site initiatives for New Product Introduction (NPI) concerning engineering and testing.
- Direct technical problem-solving efforts for complex electronic assemblies to address systemic non-conformances.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Manufacturing, and Testing teams on Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $150,000 annually. This range reflects the low and high end of Moog's salary structure for this role. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just one aspect of Moog's total compensation package, which may also include annual bonuses, an employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and a competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching, along with various region-specific benefits.
