Senior Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team at Intellisense Systems, Inc. As a key member of our Tactical Systems Department, you will design and develop cutting-edge, ruggedized military hardware for ground, maritime, and airborne applications.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing circuit boards, developing firmware, identifying and debugging issues, and testing solutions for a variety of products from conception to production.
You will work on projects such as new sensing modules for our Integrated Weather Observation System, advanced sensors and electronics for military vehicles, and power control electronics for RF-based aircraft navigation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design quick-turn circuit boards using Altium with Concord Pro to manage designs and library components.
- Develop firmware using our Common Libraries in C for PIC microcontrollers and VHDL or Verilog for FPGAs.
- Develop and review technical data packages for assigned projects.
- Write plans for testing hardware for fielding of prototypes with potential of transitioning prototypes to production.
- Ensure project compliance with applicable Intellisense practices and performance standards.
Requirements:
- B.S. or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8+ years of analog/digital circuit design with firmware development for low power standalone sensor systems.
- Deep technical understanding and proficiency in C programming for microcontrollers and VHDL/Verilog for firmware.
- Passion for electronics and hardware design with creative and critical thinking.
- Strong E-CAD skill, preferably with Altium.
