Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in commercial settings, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
- Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
- Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies of mechanical equipment.
- Process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner and provide necessary training to new or less qualified technicians as needed.
- Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicles in a safe manner.
- High school diploma or GED, with coursework at an accredited vocational technical or trade school.
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machine, and gas furnace repair.
- Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer controls.
- Good mechanical skills and communication skills.
- Driver's license and CFC certifications.
