Job Title: Premium Billing Supervisor

About the Role:

The Premium Billing Supervisor will oversee a team of Billing Specialists in our Worksite Premiums team. This is an excellent position to display and increase your leadership and communications skills. This position has the option to be remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of about 15 entry-level associates.
  • Approve timesheets and manage associates' time off.
  • Manage Macess workflow for the team.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Manager on suspense and posting reports.
  • Manage workflow coverage for the mailbox while associates are out of office.
  • Collaborate with other Operations areas on billing issue resolution.
  • Attend calls on groups as needed.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED); financial or insurance industry knowledge preferred.
  • 1-3 years of leadership skills and/or professional office experience from a business perspective.
  • Strong proficiency with computers, especially logging records, and Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Strong organization skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Dependable, flexible, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong data and records management skills.
