Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Implementation: Assist in planning and delivering daily activity plans that align with our school curriculum and focus on different areas of child development.
  • Teaching and Engagement: Engage children in age-appropriate activities that are educational and fun, such as reading stories, playing, using art, and going on field trips.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a clean and safe classroom, manage classroom activities like lessons, breaks, meals, and play, and enforce rules of behavior.
  • Support and Development: Help children reach developmental milestones, learn basic skills like identifying colors and shapes, and build their sense of identity and belonging.
  • Communication: Develop positive relationships with children and parents, and communicate with parents about their child's progress and development.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of relevant childcare experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment, ensures the safety of the children entrusted in care, and submits to a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB testing upon hire.
  • Education: High school or equivalent (Required) or currently enrolled in a school internship program.
