Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all functions within the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments, including follow-ups on overdue accounts.
  • Assist the finance department head with daily operations, monthly reconciliations, and year-end procedures.
  • Document daily financial transactions, such as purchases, receipts, sales, credits, vendor invoices, memos, and payments utilizing SAGE 100 and Epos Now retail software.
  • Generate invoices for customers.
  • Participate in the accuracy review of financial records.
  • Resolve discrepancies identified in records and reports.
  • Prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Record cash deposits, checks, and vouchers accurately.
  • Maintain and update the departmental filing system, retrieving information as necessary.
  • Organize and manage files related to customer resale certificates.
  • Exhibit flexibility and readiness to undertake projects as assigned by the finance manager.
