Faculty of Microbiology

Chamberlain University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Microbiology Faculty member to join our team. As a Microbiology Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Addison, IL.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who can develop and deliver high-quality course materials, engage students in the learning process, and provide timely feedback. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microbiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver course materials that meet the needs of undergraduate BSN nursing students
  • Teach on-site in Addison, IL, with a focus on Fundamentals of Microbiology with Lab (BIOS-242)
  • Use technology to enhance the learning environment and engage students in online discussions and assignments
  • Provide timely feedback and support to students
  • Meet with students and colleagues to discuss course progress and student needs
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Master's or Doctorate degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a closely related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours earned directly in Microbiology. You will also need to have teaching experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality education.
