Job Overview

Chamberlain University is seeking a highly qualified Microbiology Faculty member to join our team. As an Adjunct Professor of Microbiology, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Addison, IL.

The ideal candidate will have a master's or doctorate degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a closely related field, with a strong background in microbiology and teaching experience. You will be expected to develop and provide students with an approved syllabus, organize and prepare course materials, and use technology to enhance the learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach undergraduate microbiology courses
  • Prepare and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
  • Use technology to enhance the learning environment and engage students
  • Provide feedback and support to students
  • Meet with students and colleagues to discuss course progress and student needs
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctorate degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a closely related field
  • Strong background in microbiology and teaching experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting student growth and development
