- Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with clients, probate clerks, and other professionals to ensure seamless estate administration.
- Draft and prepare initial estate administration documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Assist with asset valuations, transfers, and redemptions, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Collect and manage cash accounts, marshal assets, and maintain accurate records.
- Support the preparation of estate tax returns and draft distribution documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide general administrative assistance to trust and estate attorneys and paralegals, including research, data entry, and document preparation.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in general probate procedures, including document drafting and filing.
- Strong understanding of estate administration laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation: Up to $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
