About the Role:

Denver Springs is a leading behavioral hospital dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies, including group, individual, and family therapy, to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources, functioning within the scope of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Create thorough discharge plans that meet the client's aftercare needs and ensure a smooth transition to ongoing care.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in the state of practice.
  • LSW, CSW, LPCC, LPC, MFTC, LMFT, ADDC, or ACD accepted.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
  • Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
