Denver Springs is a leading behavioral hospital dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Therapist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies, including group, individual, and family therapy, to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
- Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources, demonstrating proactive communication and documentation of all correspondence.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members, to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Work with the utilization review department to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop thorough discharge plans, ensuring a smooth transition of care and meeting the client's after-care needs.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in the state of practice.
- CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
- Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
