Job Summary

Denver Springs is a leading behavioral health hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to adults, adolescents, and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling therapies, including group, individual, and family therapy, to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
  • Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources, demonstrating proactive communication and documentation of all correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Work closely with the utilization review department to ensure effective length of stay and treatment planning.
  • Develop thorough discharge plans, ensuring a seamless transition to aftercare services and continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, or relevant licensure in the state of practice.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
  • Experience working with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
