YOUR ROLE:
This entry-level position within the Project Management Office (PMO) involves supporting the PMO/Project Manager or PMO/Business Analyst in various capacities.

Under the guidance of a senior PMO team member, you will oversee a small project, assist with tasks related to larger projects, and manage all production system change order activities for your assigned portfolio.

Your primary focus will be on small-scale projects and change orders that typically last less than three (3) months, carry minimal risk, lack sub-projects, possess a clearly defined scope, involve limited complexity with one (1) to five (5) team members, and operate within a budget ranging from zero dollars ($0) to fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).

You will be responsible for ensuring that project tasks are executed efficiently and that all related processes run smoothly.

Familiarity with departmental and organizational procedures, project goals, and the roles of each team member will be essential for effective coordination of assigned activities.

For small projects and change orders, you will manage all aspects throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Requirements:


An associate degree (or equivalent) in project management, business administration, public administration, or systems management is required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Human Resources may consider experience as a substitute for educational qualifications on a 1:1 basis.



Experience Requirements:
No prior experience is required; however, two (2) years of project-related experience is preferred. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Experience in a collaborative team environment is also beneficial.

Certifications:
No certifications are required; however, the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) is preferred.
