Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver pre- and post-sales assistance, including discovery sessions, site evaluations, proposal creation, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing technical account management.
  • Administer and oversee Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Design and implement Local Area Networks.
  • Establish and monitor network security protocols.
  • Enhance and maintain network software and hardware.
  • Construct and deploy file servers and cloud-based solutions.
  • Configure and implement VOIP systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for network infrastructure.
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Server operations.
  • Oversee telephone solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and respond appropriately as per established guidelines.
  • Utilize event log messages to facilitate repairs.
  • Handle escalated service requests requiring advanced responses.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new users.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as sales engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients at a business level to understand their historical and current technology-related issues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Experience in drafting proposals for and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
  • Solid understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, outstanding customer service skills, and strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools, such as Kaseya or Connectwise, is a plus.
  • Experience with PSA (ticketing software solutions), such as Autotask, is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in an MSP environment is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory)
  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are a valuable asset.
