Job Summary:

SUNY Brockport is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Hazen Center for Integrated Care. As a key member of our student health center, you will provide direct nursing care to Brockport students, perform laboratory duties, and maintain supplies for clinic functioning.

This is an 11-month position with the month of June off. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who can work effectively with students, public, university community, and external constituencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to Brockport students
  • Perform laboratory duties, including proficiencies and lab procedures
  • Maintain supplies for clinic functioning
  • Mentor clinical nursing students and office assistants
  • Participate in campus health and wellness outreach activities
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in nursing from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized organization
  • Valid New York State license as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to make independent nursing judgment within scope of practice
  • Ability to work effectively with students, public, university community, and external constituencies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
  • Experience in ambulatory setting, emergency room, or home care setting
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience
  • BLS certification
  • Experience working with diverse populations
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Salary and Benefits:

The minimum salary for this position is $53,719. This position is benefits eligible.
