Nurse Practitioner

SUNY Brockport is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Student Health Center in the Hazen Center for Integrated Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to Brockport students, manage laboratory duties, and supervise front desk staff. • Provide high-quality nursing care to students, including laboratory duties and management of clinic supplies.
• Supervise and mentor front desk staff, ensuring excellent customer service and administrative support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize electronic medical records and improve patient care.
• Mentor clinical nursing students and office assistants, promoting professional development and growth.
• Participate in campus health and wellness outreach activities, promoting a culture of health and well-being.

• Associate degree in nursing from a U.S. Department of Education-accredited college or university.
• Valid New York State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong work ethic and ability to make independent nursing judgments within scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from a U.S. Department of Education-accredited college or university.
• Experience in ambulatory settings, emergency rooms, or home care settings.
• Experience with reviewing and optimizing electronic medical records.
• Management experience in a healthcare setting.

This is a full-time position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule. The minimum salary for this position is $60,603. This position is benefits-eligible, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
