Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance specialists play a critical role in the manufacturing process at Brothers Desserts. As a maintenance specialist, you will support our production team by ensuring that all machinery and mechanical equipment are operating efficiently.
We are seeking an experienced maintenance specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience working with machines in a food manufacturing environment and 2 years of experience working with air compressors, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machines.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Locate sources of problems and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Control downtime by monitoring compliance with routine preventive maintenance techniques.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
- Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience working with machines in a food manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of experience working with air compressors, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machines.
- Able to work in a cold environment up to 12 hours.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to operate freezer, filler, etc., and control overrun.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
