Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year previous bedside RN experience.
