Technology Security Analyst

The incumbent will be responsible for providing expert assistance in the execution of Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure (TSFD) mandates, while also supporting compliance with export control regulations within the Department of Defense.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties of this role may include:
1. Expertly coordinating with the Principal Disclosure Authority (PDA) on sensitive cases within the National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS) and preparing documentation for monthly National Disclosure Policy Committee (NDPC) meetings.
2. Assisting in the creation of disclosure documentation and conducting TSFD evaluations to support Department of Defense-directed acquisition initiatives.
3. Preparing documentation related to export control compliance, including validating the use of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) exemptions and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) to facilitate defense acquisition programs.
4. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with TSFD and Export Control regulations.
5. Offering insights and recommendations on proposed high-interest transactions involving international agreements, TSFD, and export control compliance policies based on thorough analysis and interagency coordination with relevant departments.
6. Engaging in DoD and interagency processes related to international agreements, TSFD, and export control.
Employment Conditions
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

- Completion of a probationary/trial period may be required.
- Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit program is required.
- This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- A Special Sensitive (TS/SCI) security clearance must be obtained and maintained.
- Occasional travel away from the normal duty station may be necessary.
Telework
- Yes, situational and at the discretion of the supervisor.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) level in federal service, which includes:
- Providing expert support in the implementation of TSFD requirements and export control compliance missions.
- Coordinating sensitive cases for the PDA and preparing documentation for NDPC meetings.
- Assisting in the development of disclosure documentation and conducting TSFD reviews for acquisition programs.
Experience can include both paid and unpaid roles, including volunteer work through National Service programs and other organizations. All qualifying experience will be credited.
