We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at Mille Lacs Health System.
This is a full-time position with rotating weekends and 12-hour shifts, offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and utilizing your critical thinking skills to make sound judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring timely interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and TNCC or CALS certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
