Preventative Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift Position

Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled and assigned preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment.
- Inspect equipment integrity and identify potential failures, reporting concerns to the maintenance lead and/or supervisor.
- Address employee and food safety hazards by inspecting and determining corrective action.
- Optimize process and utilities equipment to increase proficiency and lower costs.
- Complete work orders as scheduled and/or assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or trade school certification, or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience or training.
- Experience or knowledge in lockout/tagout procedures.
- Previous experience working in the manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
The office is clean, orderly, properly lit, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate. Field conditions vary.
Exposed to various raw materials, including allergens.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
Frequent grasping, lifting, and/or moving items over 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving items up to 55 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
