Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Bilingual RN, you will have the opportunity to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care to an assigned group of patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Participate in orientation and precepting new personnel, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Assume relief charge duties when designated, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, and attending in-services, meetings, and workshops.
Requirements
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days.
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement.
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty (optional).
  • PALS, TNCC, and/or ENPC certifications (optional).
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
