Job SummaryWe are seeking highly skilled MRI Technologists to join our team at our Seattle clinic. As an MRI Technologist at Prenuvo, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners to perform high-quality scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Order supplies, clean equipment, and prepare scan rooms to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the relevant department
- Utilize ancillary tools and equipment, such as PACS and software systems, to support imaging services
- Post-process images, ensuring all steps are complete and accurate
- Train new technologists in all facets of the role, including patient safety, room preparation, and effective communication
- Strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
- Licensed with the appropriate board (ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification
- Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
- Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Patient care skills, with the ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
- A customer-focused attitude and presentation
