MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient imaging services using MRI technology.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience working with MRI equipment. You will be expected to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring that all patients receive excellent care and service.
As a MRI Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Operate MRI equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements:
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.One year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably with MRI equipment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Knowledge of radiation safety, safety precautions, and infection control practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience with cross-sectional anatomy.One year of experience in MRI imaging.
