Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient imaging services using MRI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform quality MRI scans, adhering to strict safety protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI technology and its applications.
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, educating patients on procedures and alleviating anxiety through effective communication. Verify patient information and ensure accurate identification.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine equipment checks, maintain a clean and organized radiology room, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with healthcare teams, physicians, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience in MRI or radiologic technology; one year of experience with cross-sectional anatomy preferred.
