About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced After-School Sports Program Facilitator to join our team at Elevo Learning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating engaging sports and physical activities for students in grades K-8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement fun and engaging sports and physical activities for students
  • Lead and facilitate groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance
  • Connect with students and foster positive learning experiences
  • Pay close attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly
  • Ensure activities run smoothly and efficiently within allocated timeframes
  • Clearly instruct students and collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed by paying close attention to student needs
  • Be approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids
  • Present yourself as a confident leader and a positive role model
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences is strongly preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school
