We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Financial Analyst to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our Clinical Operations Division, you will play a critical role in collecting, tracking, analyzing, and reporting key strategic and operational data to support our Clinical Leadership Team in meeting their regulatory, workforce, financial, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing workforce management-related expertise and support to the Clinical Operations Division.
- Perform analytical review of data and provide information and recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor financial performance and review divisions charges for accuracy and opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.
- Compile, review, and submit quality, regulatory, and workforce data to external entities.
- Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision, and values.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- Graduate degree is preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in an analytical capacity is required.
- Three or more years of experience with general ledger data.
- Previous experience with API within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Previous experience with Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology is preferred.
- Previous Infor/Lawson experience is preferred.
- Previous experience using Cerner Applications and contract management experience is preferred.
- Experience in prioritizing multiple projects concurrently preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen drive to learn and improve processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to compile data, analyze, and develop recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to manage time and workload of multiple projects/analysis effectively.
- Basic understanding of healthcare knowledge, such as use of coding data, basic medical terminology, and general stakeholder understanding.
- Must be detailed and quality-oriented.
- Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.
This role sits 100% onsite in Springfield, Illinois.
