Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Safe-Way Garage Doors | 1st United Door Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, managing accounting records, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws

  • Manage and train accounting staff

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions. Duties may require sitting for long periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
