Product Compliance Coordinator

Classic Westchester is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Compliance Coordinator to join our Product Compliance Team.

The Product Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet all Federal and State safety requirements. This includes partnering with cross-functional teams, communicating with external third-party testing labs, and managing compliance databases.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including CPSC, CPSIA, FDA, ASTM, and Prop 65
  • Partner with product development, inventory management, and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance standards are met
  • Communicate with external testing labs to conduct product testing and ensure compliance
  • Manage and update compliance databases, including Netsuite and File Maker
  • Maintain regulatory compliance records and ensure proper documentation
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide compliance updates
  • Handle compliance documentation requests
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in product compliance within the home goods, textiles, cosmetics, and toys/baby industries
  • Entry-level understanding of Federal and State product compliance standards
  • Experience working with domestic and international third-party testing labs
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent project management and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
