Restaurant Operations Manager

As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our team in successful day-to-day operations, by example and by being a role model of the standards and behaviors consistent with our values and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the restaurant team in successful day-to-day operations, including training and developing Crew, Hourly Managers, and Apprentices.
  • Coach and counsel employees on a timely basis, making decisions on promotions and terminations as needed.
  • Identify talent, interview, and hire new Crew, demonstrating a management style reflective of our values and culture.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, successfully communicating company changes and focus to the team.
  • Ensure employees are paid properly and receive appropriate benefits, writing schedules that meet the needs of the business.
  • Build sales and manage the restaurant budget, compiling, preparing, and maintaining P&L statements, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Implement and practice proper payroll procedures, performing required administrative duties on time.
  • Ensure safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, training employees in appropriate responses to unsafe situations.

Requirements

  • Develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel.
  • Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees, possessing exceptional customer service skills.
  • Have the ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • Adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment, with previous restaurant management experience.
  • Have experience as a Chipotle Apprentice, handling OSHA, EEOC, and health department matters.
  • Hold an A.A. or B.A./B.S in a related field, with knowledge of and the ability to use a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.

What We Offer

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $52,000.00-$73,000.00. You are also eligible for quarterly cash bonuses based upon performance and other factors. Chipotle offers a competitive total rewards package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, sick leave, vacation time, and much more.
