POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned leader to provide strategic vision and direction for VidaGroup. The Chief Executive Officer will play a crucial role in securing funding for the organization, managing a significant operating budget, and leading a dedicated team of professionals. This role involves overseeing financial management, fundraising efforts, program implementation, and administrative functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Board Relations: Collaborate with the Board to establish the strategic direction of the organization and ensure the mission is fulfilled.

  • Act as the primary advisor to the Board, ensuring effective communication and providing necessary information for informed decision-making.
  • Assist in planning agendas and materials for Board meetings.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new Board members.

Financial Management: Cultivate resources to maintain the financial health of the organization.

  • Develop and oversee the financial sustainability plan, including securing necessary funding.
  • Manage the annual operating budget and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Enhance philanthropic support by engaging with corporate, individual, and foundation sponsors.

Mission and Strategy: Work collaboratively with the Board and staff to fulfill the organization's mission through effective programs and community outreach.

  • Partner with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans and annual objectives.
  • Lead the organization in a manner that aligns with its mission and values.

Operations: Ensure the organization operates efficiently and effectively.

  • Oversee the senior leadership team and routine organizational affairs.

Public Relations: Serve as the primary liaison with community stakeholders.

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, government representatives, and local media.
  • Promote the organization's vision and services through public engagements and media interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive senior management experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on revenue generation and philanthropic support.
  • A commitment to the mission of VidaGroup and a passion for serving veterans.
