Our organization, Lake Erie Corral, LLC dba Golden Corral, is seeking skilled professionals to join our team as a Cook.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Production: Prepare high-quality Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking products, according to our recipes and procedures.
- Grill all items according to our standards to ensure quality and presentation.
- Ensure that every fried product is always fresh and hot, meeting our quality standards.
- Restock items at the Display Cooking Station when necessary, and assist guests with carved meat options when the Carver is unavailable.
- Use our buffet production system to maintain quality and shelf life compliance.
- Maintain the correct temperature of all products during cooking, holding, and serving.
- Use our Hot Choice Buffet Production Guide and Display Cooking Hot Cook Production Guide to maintain an inventory of all hot cook products.
- Conduct opening and closing administrative procedures, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Properly maintain equipment according to our Equipment Maintenance manual.
- Restock and rotate food products using the first-in, first-out method (FIFO).
- Take inventory of products and check build-to with the Manager at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure that the Hot Cook area and all smallwares are clean, and check dishes for cleanliness before using them.
- Perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
- Follow local health department laws and regulations.
- Keep the Char Grill clean and scraped to ensure product quality and sanitation.
- Ensure that Hot Choice Buffet products, including Display Cooking products, are always hot and fresh for our guests.
- Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
- Be friendly and courteous to guests, and assist them with products.
- Maintain professional communication at all times.
