Key Responsibilities:- Engage with patients in a welcoming and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and providing assistance and information regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
- Explain prescribed medications, including dosage instructions and potential adverse reactions.
- Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications, preventive healthcare measures, and follow-up care.
- Address patient questions and concerns to ensure they have a clear understanding of their health status and treatment options.
- Support clinical operations and patient care by conducting preliminary evaluations, performing basic clinical procedures, and documenting patient information accurately.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and communicate effectively with providers and other healthcare professionals.
- High school diploma required.
- Certification or demonstrated prior experience as a Medical Assistant with at least one year of experience or two years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- Compassionate, authentic, and patient-focused approach.
- Proactive and confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
