Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pulmonary Transplant practice at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of care to patients within a multidisciplinary framework caring for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Recommend treatment and prescribe medication.
- Consult with physicians (as needed) and make appropriate referrals for evaluation or treatment.
- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
- Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).
