Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurocritical Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Neuro ICU.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including history and physicals, bedside procedures, and daily progress notes
- Collaborate with the Neurocritical Care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Practitioner training program or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate program
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Minnesota or certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Minnesota
- Experience working in critical care or neurocritical care, with a strong desire to learn and perform advanced bedside procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-functioning team
- Neurocritical Care APP experience
- Experience working in a critical care setting for a minimum of 3 years
- Current ACLS, ENLS, NIHSS certifications
