The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services required by Stardom Employment Consultants. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of all materials and services.
  • Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, emerging suppliers, and potential risks.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
  • Procurement Reporting: Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and purchasing trends.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice disputes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Proven at least 2 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not required.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics.
