Snowflake Professional Services is seeking a seasoned Consulting Manager to lead our team of Solutions Architects and Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive project success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop your team members, identifying strengths and growth opportunities.
  • Leverage your Snowflake technical expertise to assess and improve team contributions.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for delivery concerns and provide solutions.
  • Recruit, hire, and prepare new team members for success.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to close growth opportunities and execute account strategies.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and cross-team learning to drive excellence.
  • Contribute to GTM strategies and lead initiatives to drive improvement.
  • Maintain a 50% utilization target, owning strategic projects and acting as a billable oversight role.
Requirements:
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including mentoring, coaching, and team development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling or positioning professional services, including scoping large projects and developing delivery estimates.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, with experience presenting to technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow.
  • Extensive knowledge of databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
  • Experience with large-scale database technology and non-relational platforms.
  • Familiarity with data integration and transformation tools, as well as BI and data exploration tools.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics, as well as scripting experience with Python, Ruby, Perl, and Bash.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to work with customers on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the services organization of a product company.
  • Leadership experience executing technical projects.
  • Industry vertical expertise (Media, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.).
  • Application Development experience.
  • AWS, Google, or Microsoft Cloud certification(s).
  • Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Certification(s).
