Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our Oncology Clinic team at Mayo Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing medication management services to patients in a safe, appropriate, and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities
  • Assess medication therapy regimens and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Manage medication therapy plans and monitor patient outcomes
  • Verify and enter medication orders, and distribute medications as needed
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on medication use and safety
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program or Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • PGY2 in Oncology or at least 4 years of oncology patient experience strongly preferred
  • Other advanced degrees and certification applicable to the position preferred
