We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Chatham Oaks Residential Care Facility. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psycho/social, legal, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents according to physician's orders
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans
  • Provide one-on-one interaction with residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement resident programming
  • Document changes in programming and care plans as needed
  • Participate in mandatory educational programs and intrafacility committees
Requirements
  • CMA certificate from an accredited program
  • Minimum of two years' experience in human services, mental health, or gerontology
  • Health examination and TB test at commencement of employment
  • Pre-employment participation in mandatory drug testing
  • Valid Iowa Driver's License or ability to obtain one shortly after employment
  • Results of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting AbbeHealth's requirements
  • Current automobile insurance in accordance with AbbeHealth's policies
