Job Description:

Triage Staffing is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a travel assignment in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
