Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography or CT
  • 1+ year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
