Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine care for our patients. You will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, as well as overseeing the operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, as well as maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to controlled substances and patient confidentiality.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of pharmacy services, including patient satisfaction and medication error rates.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications, supplies, and equipment.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, including managing budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to the pharmacy, including those related to inventory, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize pharmacy workflows to improve efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
