Position Summary:
The Marketing and Sales Administrative Assistant plays a pivotal role within the Marketing/Sales Department, providing essential support that drives our marketing and sales initiatives. This role involves assisting current, prospective, and potential clients; conducting market research to identify new client opportunities; and organizing, producing, and maintaining company literature, presentations, and proposals. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, follow through on tasks, maintain a positive and considerate demeanor, and demonstrate transparency in their work. Our clientele spans various sectors, including Finance, Security, Transportation, Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing/Sales team with various tasks
- Develop and review content for marketing materials, website, social media, and email campaigns, ensuring grammatical accuracy and appropriate layout
- Print, assemble, and duplicate product brochures and presentations for meetings, webinars, trade shows, and conferences
- Conduct market and industry research
- Organize and update trade show materials, procure booth accessories, and manage vendor schedules
- Collect and analyze current market information
- Enhance professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and projects
- Provide updates on the status of all assigned projects
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, be proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Sales/Marketing environment, showcasing excellent customer service abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a command of the English language; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adjust tasks effectively
- Capability to analyze and prioritize workload while maintaining regular communication on departmental performance metrics
