We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $83,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our dialysis unit, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state and specialty standards.

You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assessing patients during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
  2. Performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration
  3. Administering prescribed medications, monitoring patients for therapeutic response, and taking appropriate action in the event of an unintended response
  4. Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse with at least 12 months of dialysis experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree
