Job Summary:

Boise Cascade is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products, as well as providing guidance and support to our materials-handling associates.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as on-site supervisor and assistant to operations manager for the yard/warehouse/safety
  • Oversee warehouse functions, including receipt of products from external and internal suppliers, pulling and loading products for shipment, and training and guiding materials-handling associates
  • Enforce Division Safety and PPE policy and operations consistent with established standard operating procedures
  • Serve as a troubleshooter in handling daily activities within the yard
  • Oversee a team of 15-20 employees on the swing shift, including two crew leaders

Requirements:

  • Requires two (2) year technical education, college degree; or high school diploma and a minimum three (3) years operations experience
  • Must have prior supervisory experience
  • Leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities
