About the Role:


As a Technical Project Manager for Manufacturing, you will lead several of Firestorm's core and peripheral product plans, deliverables, and timelines. You will plan, drive, and lead fast-paced and highly technical projects.

We are seeking an experienced project manager with an engineering degree to manage technical projects, have hands-on experience in an engineering trade, and be committed to quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience across a wide range of manufacturing operations for industrial installations, be a team player, and have a passion for exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and resourcing of multi-disciplined, multi-supplied, global projects, continual monitoring and reporting of project status and key metrics, and identifying project risks and developing mitigations.

You will also negotiate various terms related to performance, delivery, and cost with 3rd party engineering services, coordinate factory acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning of xCell Manufacturing cell, and plan and propose solutions for scaling various manufacturing operations and joint projects with 3rd parties.

Additionally, you will produce professional, customer-facing documentation, reports, and training guides, plan intermodal logistics, and coordinate with internal and external teams/organizations.

Partner with Engineering to continually improve current product offerings and advocate for product features that will benefit your program and delight your customers.

Skills and Experience Required:
4-year engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical preferred)
Minimum 2 (3+ years preferred) years managing technical projects
Experience working on projects with global 3rd party engineering, and consultation services
Ability to competently set up and interact at a high proficiency (admin level) with advanced software tools

Bonus Skills / Experience:
PMP certification and current status
Masters Degree (MBA or Engineering Management)

Other Requirements:
Ability to lift 30 lbs
Ability to legally work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship from Firestorm
Ability to understand and adhere to local labor laws and firestorm employment policies
