Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. As a key member of our nutrition team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a comprehensive nutrition education and food service program for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for older adults and their caregivers, including articles, presentations, and one-to-one dietary consultations.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and program administrators to ensure the successful implementation of the nutrition education and food service program.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and the public through oral and written presentations.
  • Oversee the implementation of contracts with Monroe County Office for the Aging and other organizations.
  • Generate menus according to CACFP or other standards and ensure compliance with all state and local sanitary codes.
  • Participate in professional associations, community, and organization committees as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
  • Registration by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Possession of a valid certificate from the New York State Department of Education as a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN).
  • Ability to effectively use Nutri-Analysis and spreadsheet software.
  • Preferred to be bi-lingual in Spanish.
