Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Heritage Christian Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their nutritional needs.

Job Summary

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition programs, and evaluating and reporting results. You will work closely with registered nurses to coordinate medical and nutritional needs, provide tools and education to individuals and staff on good nutrition and healthy eating habits, and maintain communication with guardians, RNs, and Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Assess nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition programs
  • Collaborate with registered nurses to coordinate medical and nutritional needs
  • Provide education and tools to individuals and staff on good nutrition and healthy eating habits
  • Maintain communication with guardians, RNs, and Director of Nursing
  • Participate in agency functions and community meetings as requested
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a B.S. level degree in Nutrition or higher and a New York State license. Prior experience with developmental disabilities is preferred. You must also have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
